Electrofishing Survey and Custom Lake Management Plans

An electrofishing survey is a critical step in effective lake management, providing an accurate assessment of fish populations and overall pond health. At The Lake Doctor, we utilize state-of-the-art equipment and soft nets to safely conduct these surveys, ensuring minimal stress on the fish. The survey results offer valuable insights, including the health of the fish and pond, water quality, and pond cover. Based on these findings, we create a customized management plan, which may include recommendations for fertilization, liming, weed control, and structural improvements. Since every lake is unique, our plans are tailored to suit the specific physical characteristics, fish populations, and expectations of each owner.
