The Lake Doctor recommends the use GPM Pumping Systems. GPM has many golf course irrigation pumping systems installed in lakes, rivers, creeks and ponds, pumping fresh, effluent, salt or brackish waters. GPM designs can pump up to 12,000 GPM or 17.28 MGD in as little as 24" of water, or smaller pump systems, down to 14" of water. Control panels are Soft Starts or Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) in High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) or Stainless Steel enclosures on shore in inconspicuous locations. Fertilization injection does not affect the platforms or pumps. GPM Pumping Systems do not require a wet well or pump building. This feature has saved $30 thousand to $3 million on many installations.
